"Get ready to Rock at Rockfield" - The Cotswold Enduro Club are hosting round 5 of the Rockoil 2009 British Amca Hare & Hound Championship at Cottage Farm-Rockfield-Monmouth on Sunday 30th August This superb venue features a large variety of different terrains, several woodlands, open fields, cambered banks and climbs, a tight technical wooded section and if the crops are off a large amount of stubble flat out blasts and much more A true Hare & Hound venue set in stunning surroundings, 5-6 miles in length is normal with a 15-minute lap time It's bank holiday weekend so bring the Wife and kids, camping will be available The event is open to any rider Novice or Pro's you don't have to be contesting the British to take part in this event the track will be set out for all abilities. The Chiltern Hills Enduro Club (CHEC) are bouncing back after the disappointment of cancelling their July race by staging a mega event at Lane End on the 6th of September. There will be an extra large track in two parts, with the intention to reverse the course at half time (weather permitting). The CHEC club is returning to it's roots - therefore the championship that was started this year is being scrapped so that the fun element can be recreated in their events. Unfortunately occasional 'enthusiastic' ridding by some riders chasing the championship were putting some novice riders off. CHEC hopes to recreate the fun and friendly atmosphere that they were renowned for and welcomes all riders, novice & accomplished, looking for a great days ride with like minded individuals. The club would also like to announce the fully automated 'on-line' registration and booking in system for all future events. The system is driven by your AMCA license number so riders need to have that handy. If they haven't registered with the AMCA yet then please email the chairman first. Details SCEC - Regs are now available for the unique SCEC 'Maze in the Maize' Hare & Hounds event at Ansty in Dorset on the 13th September. This immensely enjoyable concept was pioneered by SCEC some years ago and as the name suggests large parts of the course are carved out of the 2 metre high maize crop. When added to the superb and varied cross-country terrain available at the Bramblecombe Farm venue the result is stunning! Regs are also available for the final round of the Rogershill Raceway Summer Series which will take place on the 5th September. 25th October - Surrey Police 3 Stage Trial - Bagshot test track on the Maultway in Camberley ,Surrey. The event is suitable for Enduro riders , trail riders and Trials riders. The lap will be at least 6 miles long in wooded and hilly terrain. Riders will ride 10 sections on a number of the laps. The remainder of the laps will be flat out.
